It is quite impressive.  In the early 90s I worked with a guy in his 50s who was totally bald on top but still had some hair lower down at the back.  He used to comb it all the way forward in two halves so he had a fringe and a sort of centre parting.  He was a really sound bloke to work with but very set in his ways and no-one ever mentioned it, but when he was talking to clients you could see their eyes drifting upwards to his forehead.

It's an abandoned Simca model which was to replace the 1100 and 1501, called Projet A during it's 1967 - 70 development.  Intended to be a 1970s rival to the Escort, Viva, Kadett, etc.  

In 1970 Chrysler focussed on the Hillman Avenger instead.

Scrapyards would have been full of them late 70s early 80s.

A mate had a blue V-reg 1300CL one of these around 1988, looked pretty similar to this one. Bought for £40 with 3 months' MOT.  You couldn't open the rear hatch as the whole hinge area was crumbly rotten, the rear edge of the roof skin was 3 full-width strips of duct tape.  Floor was rotten and sitting in the passenger seat was like being in a rocking chair. Great fun to thrash about.

This one's actually a pre-production test mule. (At least I think it is).
