greengartside Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Looks fab! If you needed a hand bringing it back to showroom fresh then Vulgalour would be all over that like the last pie in Greggs. Top bombing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 500tops and Cavcraft 2

Largactil Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Lovely - I do miss my old one, and do have some regrets from flogging it last year. The rear seat on mine was going rather threadbare too, and the base split (I replaced it for a minty one I got off eBay for a couple of quid). Seems that sunlight destroys old Peugeot rear seats! (I almost said I've got a spare gearbox here for you if you needed it, but I'm thinking you have the suitcase engine as opposed to the TU9, so not much use to you). Have fun - They are a great mix of an old skool driving experience, with pretty decent reliablity and low running costs. Cavcraft 1
Ratdat Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Nice! We had an '83 205 a few years ago. 1100, 4spd, no headrests etc. Proper povo spec. It was brilliant fun. I wish I'd kept it as it wasn't in bad shape at all. It was considerably more fun than the '83 Renault 5 I had after it. Cavcraft 1
RoadworkUK Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Those wheels look appalling. Excellent! In fact I have half a mind to go outside and lob the trims from 't missus's 306 to try and get a bit of patina going. Very nice. Well, horrible actually, but superb. Cavcraft 1
Jim Bell Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Nice purchase there William. Your colour coded petrol cap makes the hate the monarchy. Of France. I have a handbook going spare if for any reason you would like a handbook. Cavcraft 1
Cavcraft Posted May 15, 2014 Author Posted May 15, 2014 Right, plan Z999 ahoy. If anyone fancies this (now with tax until either start or end of November, I'll double check) they can drive it away for £300. I reckon the o/s/r wheel arch will want a tickle (or fibreglass or something) for the next MOT and I've honestly not looked underneath yet. Fab old thing but the amount of times it's being used means it's an ornament really and I have designs on other things. I'm in Chester which is about 70 miles north (at a guess) from Shitefest I reckon.
