Schweet (except for that front number plate, but then again I always pick up on that). At least £500 overpriced though!Having said that, find me a similar condition Renault 14 for a grand and I'll wrench the seller's arms off :)

Depends entirely on whether the MOT can be measured in months or hours as to whether its a good price or not. All it says is MOT. Looks stunning though, I`m not really into Beige but it suits this car.

Looks to be a 65CL like mine, except mine has the faded to grey bumpers (which I actually prefer) and the earlier FIAT badge on the lip of the bonnet. Think I prefer my colour though & paid only £350 for it.What's wrong with the number plate Craig?I prefer that one you spotted in a car park Mr Rootes

Looks like a new number plate, with modern skinny letters. The car's pricy, but it's shiny, from a dealer and with history. I'd have it.

If it looks that good close up I'd be tempted too....typically, it is 20 minutes drive from where I used to live - now it's 4 hours drive!!Why does that always happen...all the good stuff seemed miles away so I moved miles away and now it's all where I came from...

T'was an Ebay purchase around 6 months back -from recollection £350 ish

CHRIST!! It's a brave man that's tackle that!! Looks like it'd disintegrate if you sneeze too close to it!

I,am keeping a close eye on my 65 Triumph 2000,it already looks terrible and my mate(whos got it until tommorrow)was asked if it was for sale buy some rough looking hiab owners today..............Its now garaged at his house for the night.

There's a cyclops like that in a scrappy near me. probably about the same condition too...

As said above - Greyer one is better. Can you convert a later one to Cyclops spec? all the panels are bolt on - I will ask my P4 owning friend.I have a suspicion Pog may be right about the first one.

I've got a '62 P4 100 that needs a lot less work than either of those, it's remarkably solid and the interior is very good. Not been run for 20 years but the engine turns over fine on the handle.

Only thing is, I want the plate off it.

So, if any of you lot fancy getting a P4 on the road and don't mind me pinching the plate off it when it's good enough to MOT, give me a shout and make a sensible offer.

Strange that its sat around festering for twice as long as it was on the road!

Posted

OOOOhh, Ro80!One of those would be well class. Though I'd want a turbo Mazda rotary in it. Just say no to V4's!

Posted

Saw an Ro80 bombing round the M25 towards the M40 the other day. Metallic blue. I had to thrash the aging company Sprinter pretty hard to overtake it, so i could get a better look....Very impressive, it was. 8)

Posted

They are impressive, beautifully styled and perfectly proportioned and trimmed out. Hideous thirst though by all accounts, hence my need for rotary mazda, if you're going to eat fossil fuels at a scary rate, at least do it quickly

Posted

That Ro80 looks ace.I'd love to have something like that to beaver away on now and then - however I dont think it'd ever see the road again. They do truely look ace vehicles, I dont think I've seen on in real life yet though.
