I have arrived home! Bar the thermostat issue the journey was an absolute doddle. Many thanks must go to Andy and David for coming with and to Eddy for the nicest car buying experience ever.

Volvo sales appear to only work in a northerly direction, due to the attraction of Swedish steel to the magnetic north pole. That, and the heaters are usually excellent.

I'm loving my 'new' one. I had ice on the screen this morning when I finished work. The heater in this Volvo cleared it in minutes.

Well done you chaps, it's great to see these cars, whatever the make, being kept in the AS family.

I know where to aim the ad if ever I come to sell my one.

Inspirational chod collecting for us North Britainers. I really should widen my search parameters beyond 30 miles radius.

My parents were unwell so I didn't like being too far away so I was doing the 30mile radius which really cuts your chances of a good car. I'm back to national now

Hardknott and Wrynose are two epic roads for a shitey Volvo! Take mine over quite often, 2 weeks ago I found that one huge pothole near the top which is unavoidable. Wrynose is a lot smoother though...
