Never known one come off tbh. I am one of three people I know who have ever removed the complete rear assembly. Even the damn moon roof is made of 1/4" plate. Most owners won't take the interior trim panels off to get to catches. Damn good job too. it's a so and so to get off, never mind back on.

 

Am tempted to find a folding roof - mpg goes up by 2-3....damn heavy...

 Seriously? these start off the key with no glow at 0.0 or below.

 

Start with valve clearances and spill off pipes.

 

Then try priming filter and then trying it. primer should go hard after half a dozen pumps.

 

Then try parking it facing downhill and see if it starts then.

 

 

 

The usual issue after the rest has been tried/ruled out is the steel fuel pipe(s) above the back axle just before they exit/enter the tank corroding through.
