drum Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 You old romantic you. I told my wife the maestro was for her but that didn't go down so well. Junkman 1
Guest Breadvan72 Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Looks like I was wise not to linger long in Accrington.http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-26345264 Mr Lobster 1
Mr Lobster Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 ^ that must be Asda then. I used to work up the road from there and working in Accrington was quite an experience at times.
Guest Breadvan72 Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Just had a look at the 206 CC Forum. Appears to be World of Fuckheads . Not going there again.
320touring Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Hairdressers have computers? I tend now just to use model specific fora for diagnosis and repair techniques, many muppets abound. Hallowed halls such as these provide the joviality. Remember kids, fanbois=fucknuggets
Guest Breadvan72 Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Yay that. The worst single car forum I have seen is the Lotus Excel one. Makes the hairdressers seem un-bitchy. Jensen Owners Club is OK ish. Landy fora are full of loonbagz.
skattrd Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Landy fora are full of loonbagz.yep, my brother can usually be found on landyzone ... nuff said
Guest Breadvan72 Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Update: car passed its MoT with no issues, but needs a new ignition barrel as return spring broken on the old one. Wing Wang tyres may be heading for the bin before the car heads for the ditch. EssDeeWon 1
EssDeeWon Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Don't know how some of those tyres are even allowed into the UK let alone onto our cars
beko1987 Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Just had a look at the 206 CC Forum. Appears to be World of Fuckheads . Not going there again. I used to be on the 206CC.co.uk forum when I had my 206. They kept telling me to turn the boost up or something. It's better than the corsa-c forum where they all want you to chop springzzzz and facelift trim and other shite. There is some good info in 206cc (or was), may have to dig for it. If you spy W636OAU then Hello from the past!
Guest Breadvan72 Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Don't know how some of those tyres are even allowed into the UK let alone onto our cars Never fails to amaze that people will spend out on a car, look after it and such, and still fit the most cheap-ass shitbag tyres imaginable.
320touring Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Gents, danger of PH bollox starting re tyres. You haz been warned! Anyway breadvan, I thought you were supposed to put old tyres in skips, so 206cc is ftw?
320touring Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Athangewe When does the good lady baguette receive her breadskip?
eddyramrod Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 W636OAU then Hello from the past! I didn't know the OAU combination had been issued on W prefix. Years ago I had OAU 326W on my excellent mk5 Cortina.I wonder what W326 OAU is on?
eddyramrod Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Was it really? Bet it wasn't Peppermint Green! ed5000 1
Richard Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 The vehicle details for W326 OAU are:Date of Liability 14 10 2003Date of First Registration 15 05 2000Year of Manufacture 2000Cylinder Capacity (cc) 1796ccCOâ‚‚ Emissions Not AvailableFuel Type PETROLExport Marker YVehicle Status UnlicensedVehicle Colour SILVER
eddyramrod Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Lo and behold, yes it was. Led a short life apparently! I wonder what happened to it. There seems to be an export marker, maybe it went to Cyprus... I've probably parked next to it!Date of registration is only a month (ok, and 19 years) shy of my Cortina, which was April 16th 1981.
