Timewaster Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Dad has had literally hundreds of these. Including the hightops! He was a van dealer btw not a weirdo. You Can be both
twosmoke300 Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Think it may be a pre-requisite.I wish he took some photos cos he had some great old vans over the years . I love seeing old vans in company livery . Would love a mk2 cf
Mr Livered Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Well Mr Bickle, you appear to be very defensive if you don't mind me saying. Nobody was counting precisely, no idea if more or less. Not sniping from a distance, don't even live near you. I happen to do some business in your local area, and a resident of your village has told me all about you and the feelings of some in your village. He knew I would be interested because I have a major interest in auto shite too. What you do is no concern of mine, I keep me and my cars to myself in my workshops up in Guildford. Have fun. There's something a bit sinister about the 'tone' of that. nigel bickle, scruff and mat_the_cat 3
filthyjohn Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 the only yellow car Christ that looks a bit RUF
scooters Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Nige, you need to develop jaundice, it will re kindle your grumble life ...so suggest you start drinking waxoyl. Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk
nigel bickle Posted January 23, 2014 Author Posted January 23, 2014 Scoots- I've no interest in the colour of cars- but my wife's life revolves around it. It may well have done her a pile of good -because her career, in the ''latter years'', has been meteoric. I am very proud of her- and will do anything I can to help her' fashion statement' Funnily enough, our AA renewal came in yesterday, going from £119 per annum to £229 -because they've added a load of free benefits. My response, that we would switch to the RAC was bluntly denied, (Yella -y'see) so I just cancelled the DD & re-signed as a newbie. Back to £119- no added free benefits (that I didn't know about, didn't ask for yadda yaddda yadda)
Justin Case Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Nigel, can I suggest a trawl round the poundshops of Sussex and snapping up all the £1 yellow rattle cans that you can find. Then the world is your (and Mrs B's) oyster beko1987 1
Impmadman Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 There's something a bit sinister about the 'tone' of that.Ha ah, think you might have watched too much Dr Who . Not sinister at all, just telling you what I know. Nothing happens hereafter. Think I am in the wrong place.
Mr Livered Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Think I am in the wrong place.Yes, I think you probably are. Regardless of what your intentions are, or what you claim them to be, your aim in posting here appears to be to have a go at Nigel Bickle. Nigel is amongst friends here, so it was never likely that you were going to elicit any sympathy for your viewpoint from the posters here, was it? You might have had a chance if you'd been as well-known here as Nigel is, but you're not - so as far as Autoshite is concerned, you're an unknown who has turned up and started to snipe at a member from behind a veil of anonymity. Which isn't very nice, and seemed sinister to me (not just me, as you will have seen). Surely if you have a problem with Nigel or anyone else, you should simply approach him about it? I suspect you will say that you don't need to because (as you've already mentioned) what Nigel does is of no concern to you, as you keep yourself and your shite to yourself. Which begs the question: why not simply shut the fuck up then? Bobthebeard, Mr Lobster and scruff 3
nigel bickle Posted January 23, 2014 Author Posted January 23, 2014 I don't have a problem with Impmadman, and don't want this to discourage him from the site. I hope (if he does have a problem with me), we can resolve via PM. If you are someone known to me -please stick your head above the parapet, at least via PM. If not, knock next time you're passing. If I'm in, you're welcome for tea & a natter. Nevertheless chaps, I'm chuffed with your support. ThanksI've had a bad 18 months+, with this spinal damage, & the skins a little thin right now. fordperv, Bobthebeard and mat_the_cat 3
Mr Livered Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 I don't have a problem with Impmadman, and don't want this to discourage him from the site.I apologise, it wasn't my place to speak for you. Impmadman's post just seemed inappropriate and annoyed me. Partly because it was having a go at another member, but also posts like that "pollute" the forum and put a downer on the atmosphere. I've calmed down now. Group hug? Bobthebeard 1
nigel bickle Posted January 23, 2014 Author Posted January 23, 2014 Thanks for doing it. Very much appreciated. Group hug is fine with me. No tongues, mind! michiel 1
mat_the_cat Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Is that your wife's spare wheel on the Renault 21?
nigel bickle Posted January 27, 2014 Author Posted January 27, 2014 Now that IS sinister, because its clearly been taken in the last 2 days. Since you live in Guildford, and I had suggested you say 'hello' when passing, it appears you have now chosen to drive 30+ miles (each way) to sit outside, taking pics. Want to come out from behind your anonymity, tell me your address & I'll get someone to whizz over & take some nice pics? Ibiza? Yup our Mk1. Son visiting in it. The 'red thing' is a pillarless 4dr SSS Bluebird, & the Renault Silverstones, going onto the 21t is because someone knicked half the original alloys whilst parked against the wall of the part rebuilt barn. Hence a short tem surplus here. Impmadman -I made an offer -you rejected it. Please stay away. michael t, Angrydicky, fordperv and 5 others 8

Since you live in Guildford, and I had suggested you say 'hello' when passing, it appears you have now chosen to drive 30+ miles (each way) to sit outside, taking pics.As of 25th November 2012 amendments to the Protection from Harassment Act have been made that makes stalking a specific offence in England and Wales for the first time... Stalking is not legally defined but the amendments include a list of example behaviours which are following, contacting/attempting to contact, publishing statements or material about the victim, monitoring the victim (including online), loitering in a public or private place, interfering with property, watching or spying.(source)It would appear that a criminal offence has been committed, so I wouldn't expect Impmadman to step out from behind the mask.
nigel bickle Posted January 27, 2014 Author Posted January 27, 2014 Sorry Tayne. That's a late Renault Fregate, top of the range. Damn good spot. You can just see its older, bottom of the range sibling in the other photo. How did I know they were taken this weekend? because you can clearly see the damaged rear bumper off the S2000, parked in front of the Ibiza, collected Saturday lunchtime- and the reason this thread started! Mr L- cheers. I'm not looking for a fight. Funny since several of those cars aren't mine, and the adjacent layby is empty.
nigel bickle Posted January 27, 2014 Author Posted January 27, 2014 Tayne -here you go:- Angrydicky, Junkman, HillmanImp and 1 other 4
Junkman Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Would you like this in your neighbourhood. Actually yes. I'd prefer it much to the miserable sods around me, that waste their lives dumbing down in front of the telly, when they don't report someone, who makes the slightest attempt at actually enjoying life, to the authorities. They either bore me to death, or piss me off with their mediocrity. However, someone having accumulated such a chod collection, is most certainly able to maintain an interesting conversation, has an outlook on life that doesn't end at the outer boundaries of a bloody football field, and might even be up to the unthinkable - a few cold ones down at the local.Seeing something like this makes me actually want to move in next door. coalnotdole, mat_the_cat, DSdriver and 13 others 16
carlo Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Twit's obviously registered with the sole intention of making his point, thankfully now fucked off.
nigel bickle Posted January 27, 2014 Author Posted January 27, 2014 Tis a shame though. Every forum needs new blood, new ideas. Seems that 'Impmadman', perhaps isnt' . No mention of any Imps, or old cars, in any of his brief posting history here, (mostly negative, even when it didn't involve me!) and judging by his own door handle -clearly not classic! Junkman 1
michiel Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 I frigging love Frégates. Not as much as your 411 though...
nigel bickle Posted January 27, 2014 Author Posted January 27, 2014 Which one? Green rhd or white lhd/
