Decent body. Not long out of MoT. Head gasket leaking – but runs nicely prior to overheating. Unexplored transmission knocking... probably CV joint. Rear brake pads delaminated. Interior smells of rape.

That is gloriousy grim. I remember seeing these when they were new displayed in the local shopping centre by the dealer. Thought  they actually looked quite modern and decent for the money. That said I was 10  at the time and my dad was driving a Hillman Hunter, so in comparison one of these seemed the pinnacle of modernity and style
