Bonnet hump would imply it was a C. Front spoiler and headlight cowls are period mods. Rear wing is also a period mod but the wrong period. Like Anglian double glazed windows on your Georgian property.

The numbers and the arrow pointing towards the cut-off switch suggest that the owner races it but the straight bodywork suggests he doesn't try very hard.

just spotted the colour coded exhaust lol

Quite possibly a Peco HDR - Heavy Duty Rally - jobbie, and not to be sniffed at.

That looks to be a serious and beautiful bit of kit!

Yes indeedy, I'd generally agree! Though I'd loose the tea tray and inapropriate Hot Rod stickers. Nice to see its not on minilights though as I dare say most of its ilk are. :)

Having driven both a Roadster and an MGB, I'd take the Roadster any day. It feels much more sporting than a B does and even the 1600 seems to go better. A solex equipped 2000 is good for 124mph too apparently.

To be honest the only UK car I've really lusted after consistently is the old Ford Consul Capri but then again it wasn't a British design either...
