That would explain why the real ones were so hard to sell

 

It's actually made by Czech toy maker ITES, they made similar large models of Tatra's and such.

I can only guess why they did choose the Tagora for a model, maybe it was the only western car nobdy would chase them for stealing the design or using the brand name.
