Probably been done before but post up your guilty pleasures or just awesome old films.

This has been triggered by watching Rocky IV last night. What a soundtrack !1!!!!!!!11!!!!!!

No old motors in it, but will hay's "Oh mr porter!" its ace.

Stander, south african gangster flick with mk5 cortina getaway cars ;-)

Restless Natives; two young Edinburgh lads hold up tourist coaches on a moped. Filmed mid 1980s, lots of Mk2 Escort police cars, mopeds and a bizarre car chase involving Suzuki Samurais.

And the entire soundtrack is by Big Country. Reason enough.

Also for bus folk, the first half hour of Carla's Song sees Robert Carlyle abuse taxi drivers and inspectors while driving a Leyland Atlantean round Glasgow. The rest of the film is less good.

Twin town , If only for the "company car boys ?" bit

Carlos.

I heartily recommend you try and watch the 3 part mini-series as opposed to the movie version which is considerably edited and just over half the total length

There's a ton of old stuff in this movie, especially the first episode where a lot of the action takes place in London and Paris in the 70s. I'm sure there are some misplaced cars as he's rolling around in scruffy looking Allegro to shoot Joseph Sieff in 1973. Austin Allegro, the car of choice for the International Terrorist

Mr. Nice is nicely ripe with shite on three continents. This isn't even restricted to autoshite, there is also an abundance of fashionshite, buildingshite, interiorshite and aeroplaneshite.

However, cinematically it's not in the same league as masterpieces ala Plan 9 From Outer Space, Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes, or The Revenge Of Billy The Kid.

Horrendously boring thing to say, but I thought these heaps came out on a 'L'?

Thank you for saving me from having to point that out...

Hence when I suggested it was misplaced but failed to elaborate further.

Grade C+ must do better next time.

Damnation alley. Post apocalyptic 70's b movie shite complete with man eating cockroaches and radioactive hillbilly rapists.

Worth it for future airwolf jan michael do-dar and george pepard as a pair of survivors knocking around in the ultimate autoshite diy APV/tank.....at one point they even take refuge in a junkyard for bonus shite points.

Still go a long way to beat any episode of The Sweeney for kerbside-crust...Probably as far as Brighton

just added another Tagora entry to IMCDB

i631459.jpg

The killer is in the Tagora trunk!

Watch at 14:20,21:40 and 40:00

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aeqZceRy7M0

Big mistake in the last scene, the "bad girl" locks the trunk with her keys, impossbile on a Tagora. To lock it, you need to push a latch on the inside and then close the lid. Even worse, in the beginning, she drops the car at the garage claiming a steering problem; that cant be, Tagoras never fail!

If you like euro-crud of a certain age Jacques Tati's "Trafic" contains it all and centres around getting a Renault 4 camper van (not a misprint) to the Amsterdam Motor Show.   Its French, set in Holland but is dialogue-free.  How many other movies star a Siata Spring?

Not a film, but the intro to the second Minder (the one with his nephew in).

Mitsubishi Starion, Corolla GTi, Bedford Rascal, etc  8)

I know of 7.

Ho! (which contains oodles of French chod, including some Matra Simca race cars)

Hilfe, ich liebe Zwillinge (which for a large part plays at a beautiful 1960s petrol station)

La leçon particulière (which contains so much French chod that PHWOAR is exceeded, plus a Lambo Miura)

The Sweeney Ep. 3.04

Z (also ripe with French shite)

McCloud: Who Killed Miss U.S.A.? (contains yank shite in abundance, including a Lehman Peterson Lincoln limo)

Il sosia (which is full with Italian chod)
