Nope, and I think this place only has a pool, no fancy rollercoasters or spinning teacups. They do have 'kids entertainment' during the summer. Probably deserted now, which suits me fine.

Thanks Joe, for republishing the programme of events.  Most helpful!  Couple of questions, that might possibly sway my attendance-or-not....

 

1: is Benno coming?  I have something for him...

2: is Vulgalour coming?  See above...

3: are dogs allowed?  I was thinking of bringing my little guard dog.

4: are any wives/girlfriends/etc coming?  This particularly affects MrsR who doesn't want to be a car-show-widow sitting around on her own while I ogle the sea of Ladas.

 

She has actually said I can go on my own if I want, but I'd rather bring her with me, as long as she isn't going to be lonely and left-out.  It'll only be a day-trip anyway.

Eddy:  I'll be there, but only on the Saturday.  I've got animal sitting to do here and my brother will need to be returned Saturday night too so I can't stop the whole weekend, sadly.

 

On the subject of civilised, I've tested my in-car cigar lighter powered Boots brand vacuum cleaner recently to clean up after my nephew.  This means I can offer a valeting service to those shiters that might want it on the day.  You will need a working cigar lighter or the ability to park quite close to the Princess to make use of this service.  I might also not actually want to do the vacuuming... I've also not figured out how you empty the vacuum yet.

You've just reminded me. I won a Rover P6 hubcap for owning such a dreadful vehicle at Shitefest last year. I shall pack it now! I've just been fitting some serious* ICE to the Disco, so background music shouldn't be an issue.

Ive found a chair out the back of the pub where I work, missing slats. Might nail some chicken wire in its place and bring it down. Also we have an old swivel chair in the workshop that used to be used during fag breaks.

And my man and dad replaced the carpet in their bathroom, so we have a pink carpet with bidet, toilet and sink-shaped cutouts.

This is civilised indeed. Don't worry, dad sits down to piss like I do, no stains involved.

The same carpet has already been used as a spikey-grass-suppressant at one festival this summer, I can confirm it is not diseased.

I found an unshot clay pigeon in the disco footwell today which might make a good ashtray. It may also make a mess if anyone tried to use it for its original intended purpose whilst full of fag ends
