Since branching into 1/43rd, Oxford Diecast have picked up their game. Latest is this Austin A135 Princess. Hope there's a Sheerline on the way.

and at last, the Austin K8. Austin Service livery would be nice:

Coincidentally we've just had a delivery of Oxford Diecast this week. I've just spent half the night listing stuff.

This is quite nice if you like that sort of thing (weddings that is!)

Me too  We've had quite a lot of the rest of that series but some have never appeared over here - 2CV, Uno and a few others. Shame as they are superb models for the money. Will let you know if we do get them though.

like the look off that uno, looks a great copy 8)

All of that series (with the possible exception of the DS which was sort of ok) have been really good, superb detail especially so considering they are relatively cheap.Originally part of an Italian partwork series called Quattroruote. The series runs to about 50 cars in total IIRC.

more money i'll have to spend  (sadly the tipo's just blown up so have to sort another car for 'er indoors first)

Any ideas what others are in the range? I like the look of the Quattro! Shame 1/24 stuff doesn't really fit with my collection...

Off the top of my head >Renault 5 AlpineGolf GTi Mk1Porsche 911Simca 1000Fiat 500Alfa SpiderCitroen DSAutobianchi BianchinaRenault 4Fiat 127Sierra CosworthLancia Delta IntegraleCitroen 2CVFiat 600Fiat X1/9Audi QuattroEscort Mk1Lamborghini MiuraVW BeetleInnocenti Mini CooperAlfasudFiat PandaThats about as much as I can think of. The collection is still 'current' in Italy - ie available on magazines in shops so could be quite some time before (if) they come to UK. Very nice quality though, some of those which have already landed over here sold out very very quickly.

Yes thats the range that includes Mashs' Uno.Personally, I think the Welly stuff is better than Burago - better put together and detail is a bit better too.

Posted Image

ohhh you sold any of those :? its 1/24 so to big for me..

although this one maybe joining

Posted Image

just had to payout on a rover as the tipo's blown a headgasket  so gimme a week and i'll have those tools too david

:D

^ Beetles - sold quite a lot but we still have some left. Theres also a 2CV and DS in the same sort of design (ie knackered) but 1/18 scale.Going back to Welly for a moment - just had a load arrive today which is all new stuff - 1/18 BMW 120i, TransAm, Alfa 8C plus 1/24 FX4 Taxi, Landrover and something else I can't remember at this time of night. Of more possible interest to shite lovers would be 1/43 scale Skoda Felicias by Abrex which are pretty cool.None of above on ebay til weekend though
