ROBIN RELIANT

Was just going to post the same. It's just as annoying as all those wankshaft 'Trotter lookalike' vans.

That's what I thought, same with the Mr Bean reference.

Mart - I didn't get to read the Nissan Micra page you wrote. On issue 2 there seems to be only blank pages after the Land Rover bit.

I am enjoying reading this. Written by people who know their stuff and can also have a laugh.

That is a very good article, Micrashed. I think I've mentioned I owned one of them (P466 PNE - now deceased) and you are spot-on about what you say about them. A fantastic, reliable and cheap-to-run small car passed on to me by Grandad, it was sadly sent to the garage in the sky as it would've needed a fair bit spending on it for its MoT - it'd already been welded at the rear sills once, the (original) exhaust literally was crumbling to the touch and it began to act up refusing to start from cold when only driven a very short distance (something I always avoided like the plague but mum had to move it off the drive once and then it was a devil to start). I think it was 13 years old at that point so it did very well, still even on its original battery and, I think, brake linings.

Something else I remember about them was that you had to wait 30 secs. after starting from cold for the engine to warm up.

A very good motor and I was sad to see it go.

I'm still eagerly awaiting the next issue, I think all parties involved have had a serious case of life getting in the way of publishing a free shite-fest in it's entirity though.
