Tidy Mk3 Cavalier for sale - £350

A friend of mine is selling a tidy Mk3 Cavalier saloon on an L reg.

 

I don't have any pictures but the car is extremely tidy, no visible rust and the metallic gold/light bronze paint is immaculate. Its on original steel wheels with original wheel trims.

 

Its a 1.8 GLS, single point injection, 120k with service history. It was a dealer car for Pedestal Vauxhall in Wycombe and purchased from them by the owner (he worked for them at the time).

Vauxhall Cavalier K-reg 1.8 GLS single point fuel injection. 1993 Saloon. 120K miles

 

Good condition overall, but has a small oil leak from the top of engine – I don’t need to fill it up between annual oil changes so not bad, but a little messy. (gasket)

The solenoid for the boot lock does not work – central locking works everything else fine- boot still locks manually.

 

Probably needs front tyres for MOT – expiry 2nd Nov. 2012

Advisory last year for minor surface rust on OS front brake pipe and fuel lines.

oil leak on top of engine will be a £4.25 rocker cover gasket and about 10 minutes of piss easy 'work' with a 10mm socket or spanner and 8 bolts from memory.

VERY nice indeed. Shame I've just bought another fecking Triumph. At least Mrs PBK actually seems to like it. Well, she didn't actually say anything, so that's how I'm interpreting it
