Does anyone actually watch BBC Scotland? I made a point of watching the thing about the Rolls Royce fitters and the Chilean jet engines as I had donated to the crowdfunding but most of it looks fucking awful.

I watched that this morning, I had no idea about any of it happening. Found it very eye opening and pretty moving.

The Inside Central Station thing has been superb, Nae Pasaran was outstanding though it was a buy in of sorts. Still Game has been okay and I'm a big fan of Burnistoun. Scot Squad is apparantly moving to BBC Scotland, I expect Two Doors Down will follow for it's next series.

The rest has been toilet.

Inside Central Station was an STV film crew anaw. Noticed as well the weather report clip from the latest episode was Sean Batty.

That's got to be a stunt Fowler, there's no cup of tea in front of him

It was 486 degrees outside. Look closely at the photo and you'll see an empty milkshake cup.

There's a gameshow called wonderball on at 7pm, it's incredibly shit but mildly amusing and really cringy. It's a news reader who presents it, she's rubbish...

Thanks for a pleasant evening folks :) I am now off to have yet another fight with the GTB. I jinxed it saying it was fixed so it decided to cut boost and fling codes on the way home, right before I'm supposed to be towing a twin axle to Glencoe next week.....It'll be for sale when I get back at the end of May if it actually makes it....

Aye, was a good night with a good turnout  :-D

The Exploder managed it's longest journey so far in my custardy no bother, although I need to have a look at that oil leak sharpish...

Nice to meet some of you and have a look round yer cars- was a bit late and had my tea before I left, will know better next time. I was hungry again by the time I got home following Laquer Peel's VW veg Passat. Smelt like white puddin'.

Hoping the GTB is now fixed. Alternator belt was more loose than it was originally so suspect a possible drop in voltage from a slipping belt was causing the solenoids to have a hissy fit, again. Hope that's all it is anyway. Will take it a run tomorrow and see if it behaves!

I just had a thought. Anyone heading here from Glasgow? I'll be in town, but with a mileage limit on the hire car..

When and where?

Posted

I'll be at the SEC all day Wednesday 24th, day usually finishes about 5 ISH

I'd need a lift both ways, but would obviously contribute to petrol and supper costs

Posted

If I get in in time in the morning I'll just cancel the hire car and take the legacy. I'll have to pay the petrol all the way, but.. meh

Cheers LP. Obviously I can help relay stuff up from the NE of the south, if that helps anyone.

Posted

I will be in the area. In something massively inappropriate.  I think you'll like it.

I can see the SEC from my living room window. Mr Wobbler you are also welcome for pre-scran tea if you want.

Is that tea like a Geordie has when he gets in from work, or like a vicar drinks whilst eating cake?
