Um. He might get a Mk4 Escort Mexico. One of the nasty arse jobs with the 1.4 CVH in, that'd be a deal. That Shogun thing is worth about £600, I suspect he's trying his hand a little...

I wonder if it would be cruel to start an account on that forum and offer him my uncle's old one that has sat in a heated garage since 1974 and only done 3.650 miles from new, then ask how much cash he'd like on top?

Local Radio, BBC Radio Humberside used to do a Swaps feature in the bad old days. Apparently someone once rang in offering two ferrets in exchange for a concrete coal bunker.

I once swapped a McDonalds happy meal for a Lancia Beta saloon some 10 years ago. True story too. Mind you the guy who needed Ronalds finest nurishment was a little touched in the head. A bit 'care in community' if you see what I mean.I'll watch the events of this ultimate wind up with great interest.

I swapped a tape deck for a VW Beetle.Wasn't a good tape deck, wasn't a good Beetle. Seemed fair to me.

I once had to get rid of a Golf Driver, quite a tidy 1990 model, when I bought a new car. Advertised at £400, then £350, then £250, still not takers at £150 (back in the day when you had to pay for car disposal). Ended up swapping it for an ikea 'Billy' bookcase, a computer desk, and a tumble dryer. That website has far too many Zs in places of Ss. I hate it already.
