I remember them from a holiday in Portugal in the mid 90's, when I went on a 'Jeep' safari-type-thing.I think the engine is under the bulkhead IIRC???

My Duster was a pretty awful car....Yet I kinda liked it....Wierd, huh? Often wish I'd gone for the "Roadster" instead of the estate though....Still crap, but more fun! I was offered a UMM Alter like that (but red) F.O.C. about five years ago....Just in need of a replacement Peugeot engine, otherwise looking pretty good....I had a driveway full at the time, so had to decline!

I saw one o' them on the A47 on the way back from Peterborough a couple of weeks ago. White one it was. Looked in pretty good nick too. Other than that I haven't seen any right-hookers for a very long while.

3 wipers! My overwhelming memory of these is a local gamekeeper owning one from new up until about the mid '90s, by then ravaged by rust. I'm surprised any still survive.But I've seen Subaru MVs in a similar state and plenty of them survive in decent condition.

Oustanding. I love the round pin 13A socket and the ignition wire dangling down from under the dash.
