Honda, anyone?

Cavcraft are proud to offer the following car for sale:

1998 Honda Civic 1.4i five door. MOT Feb next year, taxed until end of May this year but could re-tax no problem. Leccy windows, leccy sunroof, leccy mirrors, fancy aftermarket CD player, power steering, remote locking and all that sort of bollocks. 91,000 miles, really does drive nicely and seems pretty mega on fuel. One wheeltrim is a poundshop job and the rear arches are doing the usual but to be fair it's a hard car to fault really.

Erm, not overly sure on prices for these but how does £595 or offers sound and I'll lob 6 months tax on for that too?

Nice Ronda for someone. 8) I bet even these 1.4s shift like the steaming hot proverbrial (spl?) on a shovel.

Despite the Rover 400/45 connotations and having exactly the same 1396cc capacity, these have a Honda lump rather than the Rover K-series. They're not super-rapid but they nip along fairly well, are good on juice and smooth-running.

I had one of these (same age) about 12 years back for a year or so, and you could do a hell of a lot worse for fuss-free daily transport, although I wonder what the designers were thinking when they decided on the location of the passenger electric window switch. Fair value, GLWS and all that.

Nice little car. Looks a bit like a squished Beemer from certain angles. Super value driving. Good luck with the sale.

6 months tax as of today included in asking price.

Just to bump this thread even further I'd be interested in a decent, modern, lightweight racing or hybrid bike and cash my way.

I had withdrawn this for sale (elsewhere) but due to now having a diesel daily this is surplus to requirements.

I'd consider almost* anything in part-ex and about £350 (negotiable) cash my way as I've now got my eye on another French car.

*Cycle, decent LCD telly, scooter etc. Just NO MONDEOS.

Err... I offered you HARD CASH (well, Green Shield Stamps and a hand job) last week for this and you refused! 0.0000001/10 for CAVCRAFT customer retention!
