What 1970/80's colours are a favorite of yours,and would they still look good on todays modern crap ?

Mine are mainly Ford ones. Signal orange, Java green, roman bronze, canary yellow.

 

They don't seem to do modern stuff in fun colours. Fiat and Citroen seem to have a go, but they seem mainly alone in going for anything that isn't black, silver or equally dull.

 

Skoda do a nice metallic bronze at the moment. It's damn near '70s metallic brown. Love it.

It's funny innit. All the effort people go to giving their colours expressive, emotive names, but reading through the thrilling* list of paint colours in this thread and I have no fuggin' clue what any of them look like.
