The production company, as with all on set damage. For this reason, it's best you go with the car and report any damage before you leave. We are usually there too, anyway.

OK if it's really grubby, wash it but FFS don't polish it!! Can't tell you how many times I have turned up with a van to find it's too clean and have the art dept 'dirty down'.....

Worst case was the F6 tractor unit that the driver started polishing at 4am. Next worst was the Mk1 transit that (with the owner's permission) was dirtied down, returned after a valet then called back, to get dirty again!!! The only things we wash are ambies and police cars.
