Ever wondered what it looks like on the other side of the gate?

The Opel dealer is a Ford dealer, but apart from that there is fuck all difference.

Chalon sur Marne

This may be interesting for some, but not all, since it contains the very first Panhard Junior prototype built in 1952, with coachwork by Di Rosa.

Chassis number 479.964 was indeed sold to Marne, registered 76AJ51 and repainted from black to cream, so it all adds up.

Rumor has it that the car still exists, locked away somewhere in the Calais area.

Sez Glesgah, but it will be disputed.

Nope, it is. Pre 1962 as that's when the trams were scrapped (looks like a Cunarder tram and an Alexander bodied Regent V bus).

Looks more like Paris with that RATP bus.

When the Owd Giffer was in the RAF, back when most of their aerial hardware had propellers, he and three mates shared a Riley RM.  It broke spectacularly and was abandoned roadside.  He was based at Bawdsey in Suffolk.

Can it be...?  ;)

Is that a Victor FB on the right, between the Impala and the Opel?

I was thinking PB Cresta, but I'm usually wrong.

It's Argyll Street looking west, maybe about 150 or so, Jackson the Tailor are still there but have moved a few hundred yards along the road to underneath the Central Station bridge

Besides, did anyone spot what I consider remarkable in that card?

I believe it's a Lagonda LG6.

You know what, I think I know whose car that is and who is driving it in that photo. It had a Jag XK engine
