Anyone know the Ukranian for "Could you cut the roof off and put it in the post"?

Just where is Ukraine? I bet you're thinking:

About 1900 - 2000 miles away. So here's the plan, find a Polish man in Poland, employ him to drive it back for you

If my experence last year is anything to go by expect to spend at least 3 hours on the way ino Ukraine at border control and another hour and a half on the way out. We were only in the country proper for 2 1/2 hours!

Heck thats an early aero shape Audi 100 dashboard fitted in to that Tagora!! Not to mention what looks like a Bmw e30 engine!! Hats off to em' thought they only did stuff like that to motors out in cuba!! :D

Yes i do, it needs a lot of work though. A 1981 2.2 gls. These european ones intrest me too...especially reshelling my rhd bits in to a really solid rust free body!!

Ah cool, got any pictures to share? I've watched a handful on eBay over 10 years of having eBay, but never bitten the bullet. In 2004 or 5 there was a beige one that was complete but quite rotten that I was considering. I take it yours isn't on the road? I've still not seen one up close!

I did think it was an audi 100 dash. i wondered for a sec whether they put a pic of the wrong car in ?? really weird.

those french tagora's in diesel flavour are really tempting, ideal for me to keep in france with them being lhd too... but i don't have enough euros sadly.

talbotman, pics please !

Hello! Was it more grotty then the seller let on then?, It would be great to see some photos and hear about what it's like. :D

ok I'll take some pics next weekend when I'm next working on the beast, got it half stripped already due to it being completely f****d.Bare metal respray, correct the poor restoration carried out some years ago oh and the bloody roof.....brings me out in a cold sweat thinking about it.If anyone on here knows of a Tag in a breakers anywhere I need a raft of parts.

Hi trigger, the description on ebay bears no relation to the actual car.Now bearing in mind the seller knew I had to drive it 300miles home you would have thought a bit of prep would have been in order...oh no,car hadn't ran for ages, had no coolant in it and took an age to get started whereby it would only run properly above 2000rpm.Oh joy.But it did get me back much to my amazement and on full chat makes a lovely noise!(prob helped by the knackered exhaust!).

I could do with finding someone with a rotten 2.2 or diesel who has accepted defeat on the restoration and is willing to sell me the car for spares. You've got to be optimistic eh....

What happened to the one in the Horders house garden?, did that get nicked and crushed as well?

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.

I'll be keeping you all updated with Tagora progress. The aim is to get it back on the road before the MOT is due in September. And don't forget if anyone hears of or sees a tagora in a scrappy anywhere give me a holler. 8)

Does anyone know what happened to BEA 83Y from this photo?

Some chap on reddit was saying that there are none left in the UK and I said I know of a couple thinking of these.

The white one has been on SORN since 2016 and the red one is no longer on the DVLA database so looks like its been scrapped? Or can it dissappear for other reasons?

Don't remember hearing owt about it?
