Great stuff, that XJ-S looks a bit bubbly! and i love the Bluebird/Chronicle photo too!

Some good ones there, I've always liked the 406 Coupe.

I always think it's a shame to see a 3.6 XJ-S lingering like that, they were one of my favourites as a car mad 13-year old!!

Some great photos there Retrogeezer.

I remember seeing an XJ-S for sales in the mid-nineties, it would have been an early eighties model, and was even more crusty than this one, rust around the flying buttresses and boot area. I think it was up for £2K to £2.5K, such were the values of used motors back then.

A quick train anorak question: where's the APT based?

It's at the railway heritage centre in Crewe Phil, you can see it from the back of the Tesco car park (I did have to stand on my bonnet to get that pic)

Ha! Good times, I used to work down the Gresty Road.

That Sierra Sapphire looks like it's on Quicks Ford plates, we had K738 LLG and N492 DMA on Fiestas, both bought from the Chester branch.

The poor Robin can't see - its had its eyes removed !!
