Popped to Cora yesterday with Father_Sterling. Unfortunately in the cars section it looks like they are doing some tidying up.  All the 1/18s have been cleared along with a load of other toys. So it look like I got there in time, this is all I found;

You can just see the shelf next door completely cleared, this was all the way up the rest of the isle.

Car Boot box this morning, came with a Dinky Thunderbird 2 as well

I never noticed this before - regular wheels and Superfast #25 Cortinas have different rear bumpers. 

I was going to mod the Superfast base as I'm putting different wheels on - but I prefer the wraparound bumpers...

Odd, Cav should be a Matchbox. I've got one, I always remarked that I never liked the too-short rear doors, it's proportions aren't great.

It's a Matchbox but a made in China rather than Macau

My other Chinese one is a darker red than usual

Scale 1/24 a bit big for the Summer house, but I did show her anyway!

However I have bought these for her birthday next week

not had a chance to give them a wash yet

I have a few plastic Norevs myself so I really hopes she likes this set

We also went to a boot fair (Ford Airfield) where we got some bargains, but I didn't pick up much tat and nothing as good as that lot

The most interesting was the ERTL GTO, I'm hoping Dinky hollow tyres will fit

the Solido BMW 2002 which has obviously done one too  many burn outs

mostly just for parts though

afterwards we went into Arundel where we got the slowest ever cup of coffee leaving us not much time to look around the junk shops. I didn't buy anything. but saw plenty I liked!

Planets aligned today so I could go to the toy fair. Mrs suggested I pay the extra to go in early, which was quite nice as you weren't fighting through the great unwashed - however what I hadn't realised was that Sandown was on yesterday so I think most of the real goodies sold there. Still picked up a few bits though

SD1 is one of the few tatty cars I selected, because of the unusual orange light bar

I had to nip up to the cashpoint to get a bit extra, but I didn't want to leave this Dinky Transit behind for the price
