There are over 100 in the James Bond series, not the complete set

Until I Suddenly Became A Responsible Adult* I had a mild addiction to collecting 1:18 scale models. The big problem with this being the amount of space they take up. I have zero space, so it's pretty likely that every acquisition I make will go straight into the attic.

So, here's Attic Resident #63. Fresh from Germany, via eBay.

The door fit isn't perfect; I think the glass needs careful filing down, and the colour match on the doors isn't bang on. And, if we're being ultra fussy, it could do with flatting and polishing.

Other than that I think it's fab. Now I need a Puma and a Probe.

Part of my microshite collection below.

I must prepare better environment and better camera. Taking pictures could be a good reason to unbox rest of them.

From memory there's another three or four of the triple packs, I know there was an Italian Job set as well as a Red Hot / Black / White ones as well as other. That one there is Mayfair, Piccadilly and Strand or summat. Hoping the boxes for the others aren't as damaged!

I love Corgi 1/36 scale Minis from the late 80s, particularly the special edition ones. I have a 30, Rose, Racing, Flame, Sky, City, Neon and a triple pack consisting of a Red Hot, Ritz and a Jet Black. The best sort were from 1989 when they improved the front lights, added headrests and called it a rover mini, but before the rubber tyres amd wide cooper wings were introduced, making the model into something it wasnt.

Always looking for more!

They are not all Herpas, mostly Brekina and there is about fifty more of them! He was my top mate but sadly recently passed away and they were gifted to me by his widow for helping to try and catalogue all his stuff. An interesting but sad thing to be doing and lots more to do still.

Sad circumstances.   I do think, though, that people live on through the stuff they have loved, collected and handled.

Been there, done that years ago with a friend's collection of over 7000 model buses. Was a hard thing to do, but he'd put it in his will that only I would be the one to catalogue and dispose of his collection

I'm after the DeAgostini Lada 21099 in silver at sensible money (Lada Samara 4 door saloon). Doesn't seem to turn up much on the bay of e's either tbh

Finally found a way of displaying my commie tat. An old DVD shelving unit

Yeah, I'm looking at some of their stuff and thinking it looks pretty irresistible at that price, sub-10 quid for Mk3 Cav, Nova, Astra with those black steelies... I could make a lovely VX garage up!

Some very seriously cheap stuff there, no wonder Hornby aren't making any money (again...)
