Nice!! I had my eye on that myself at some point. Did it have hancuffs through the rear towing eye IIRC? looks super straight, Well bought! Much history? Makes my own w124 (recently bought- see the thread) look like a right shit heap! (which it is!)

I'll be sure to look out for it on my travels. Are you going to keep it standard? I hope so :)

I will actually be removing some modifications from this. I don't like the skull stickers, the black wheels or the pool ball gear lever. I'll be on the lookout for standard parts before long.

Smart looking car Panda. NIce old buses these W124s, I missed the chance of what looked like a nice black one the other day.

Wanted to improve it a little so tidied up some scrappy wheel trims that were in the boot.

Is that a Humber Septre lurking behind the Benzo?

It is, an abandoned project by a friend - but he will not part with it!

I really don't know - I have undone everything else the previous owner did, but this is unfixable.

Apparently the paint was peeling so he made it worse.

Also. boot has had some bad repairs in the past and has been painted badly. I'll probably just replace it as well as the rusty front wing.

I have already applied liberal amounts of Kurust and sprayed some gloss black over the dodgy bits.

That's just retarded.

"Laquer peeling? No problem, give us a call and we'll pop round and scratch something through the paint, sorted."

That's just retro-rides.

Edited for accuracy

These are such great value for money. Mercedes handily put a bit of foam inside the wings at the front which gets soaked and rots them out.

Bits are pretty cheap too. I got a brand new back box for my 280 off ebay for 40 quid.

Nice buy Panda. What didn't you like about the other wheel trims, they looked OK?

They had been painted black :(

Will restore them at some point though.
