I found a camper van to buy

I must admit, I like a slightly shonky home-brew camper... It's even got UPVC windows!

Does look like it might have been a meat wagon in a former life (space for a fridge on front?). Wonder if the smell has gone...

tell me what's missing from this camper?

A VW badge and a surfboard?

I don't know if windowless is the right direction for a camper van. It looks like someone's excavated an ROC bunker and put wheels on the bottom.

I'm sure floorless isn't a good idea either! lol

To be fair, I reckon this could look 10 times as cool as any VW. But £900 in that state?

a Merc Bariban is a fab van comversion - and almost anything is cooler than a VW

A decimal point from the asking price.

I'm with sporty-shite though, with a bit of care and attention lavished on it (but not too much) this could be ace. GR9 for pretending to be a Baader-Meinhof splinter cell hiding out in Berkshire woodland in an episode of The Professionals.

Home converted - can you tell though, with this professional-quality conversion.

You could measure the 0-40 (it probably won't reach the giddy heights of 60) time in that in calendar months. You'd just need to find some sort of automatic steering device to keep it in a straight line as you used both hands and a great deal of praying to get it to actually change gear.

You looking to get back at Mrs MO's "one law for her quite another for you" shitebuying rules by selling the family home and moving into this baby??

The van is class by the way, can you imagine the looks you would get turning up at a Caravan Club campsite in it

STELF CAMPAZ ROOL!

turning up in the rustiest Bedford CA that ever had an MoT certificate, realising you had never tried to put the seats down to make a bed, and that they were stiff after two decades of not being used, and that you would have to spend the next fifteen minutes with a hammer and wd40 freeing them off did not go down well with the fellow campers at the Moffat caravan site at 9 o'clock at night - why? I do not know!!!

She's cool with campers - although my argument that there is a 54 plate 4.6 tonne Mercedes motorhome on the drive does not stop her wanting another Dormobile.

this trannie is lacking in equipment - it does have a mirror though!

How the hell does some cushions nicked from behind DFS and a load of handy-andy's offcuts make a motorhome? Bugger me I could chuck a lilo on the door in the back of the xantia and pull that trick.

it's got a mirror!

Ah fair one, I didn't see that, well worth every penny then, hard to feel short changed in that, even whilst pissing into an old saucepan and trying not to wake the wife/girlfriend/anyone unlucky enough to be sharing a board with you.

The camper bit is far and away the best part of this heap! They are pure horrors to drive, I know. Does look like it was built on my sort of usual budget though, 48p!

Urrgghh, you can smell the semen stains from the pictures!

any scratch marks from victims trying to escape?

CSI would find some interesting fluids in them
