For Sale - 1991 C900 N/A 5dr-MOT - £200 (one week)

Bought this a couple of months ago as wanted to get back into a C900, and also had some stuff to move round.

Now need to sell it on as need to raise some cash to try and fix the gearbox on my 9000.

MOT: June 2012

Tax : None included in sale, but can be purchased at cost if needed

Mileage : 181,000

Location : Birmingham

Added Alloy wheels and fixed a couple of things in my ownership, so just looking to get back what I paid.

Price £250 (exc tax), or £200 if you want it on steels.

Issues:

One of the rear electric windows does not work.

Scabby wheel arches on the drivers side

Headlining non existant

Lamborghini style rear window (Well it was this morning, as only two of the heated rear window elements work, so you are looking through a post box)

Rusty Door Bottoms

Could probably do with a windsreen replacement as quite a few chips, but don't think any are an MOT Failure (NO cracks)

Slow puncture on passenger front tyre. (hope to get fixed this week, if I have time)

Good Points:

Mechanically not had any issues (other than an exhaust blow, now fixed)

Three working electric windows

Power Steering

Electric Sunroof

Central Locking

Believe the drive shaft tunnels were welded last year, but not checked myself.

Radio

Electric Aerial

Massive Boot.

Great Heater, especially this morning.

Spare Three Spoke Steering Wheel also included, but not fitted.

Yes, perhaps I should have stated that all the other windows are working fine. :D

With this beinbg winter you should mention that the heated seats still work - they did the last time I sat in them  !

Not certain, as I only drive about 10 mins to work. Will take it out for a longer drive tomorrow to test. Do they come on automatically??? My old C900 LPT had switches on the dash. To be honest, did not even know they were fitted.

3 working windows & Heated Seats :D , now there's luxury

Cheers for the heads up.

Ah, the autoshite bike's back up for grabs again! This is a proper good ol' bus. Don't forget it's got the 16v engine, so surprisingly perky! It's like discovering that your gran can still have you over 100 metres. Just feels wrong!

They come on automatically, and should heat you up before you've gone half a mile.

Great car that.....we should have a series of threads with permanent autoshite pool car updates. Then we can make sure theses old buses get sold onto each other and it means they stay on the road whilst being available for shitters who need a daily cheaply!

Great car. Hope it is saved from the scrap man. Will make someone a great old bus. Goes really well and is pretty good on fuel even with my lead foot.

+1! That makes a whole lot of sense to me.*

*As someone who will be needing something from the pool around September next year, preferably northern-sited!

Perhaps we should all chip in for MOT's, routine servicing and possibly even stuff like sorting that damned electric window to keep it going forever.

Very tempted by this. Need to speak to CFO of the house ...

Pre weekend bump, and I think the heated seats do work.

Or I just had a nasty accident, one of the two

Roll Up, Roll up.

Ideally want this gone this week, so price reduced to £200 on the alloys if it goes (and is collected) this week.

If not, it goes back up to £250 next week and I'll hang on till it sells.

Obviously tax still not included at this price.

Cheers

How has no one bought this yet?

My dangley bits would be earrings if I came home with this. Have spent most of this week pointing things out on the insignia such as huuuuuge A pillars ... then mentioning I might know a car that has small ones. Same with Heated seats etc..

Car has now been sold to its new owner, picked up this morning.

Anyone on here or RR? Or did they have an odd irish lilt and drive a stolen transit flatbed? Hopefully its will continue on for a bit yet.
