  1. I've always thought the Oxford 1:43 were good value compared with some other manufacturers. Also their range concentrated on the posher end of the '50s and '60s. Blue Bentley Their Daimler SP250 Dart is a nice one The Friary Cresta is also a good gap filler in a Vauxhall collection They also did the Royal version And the Daimler DS 420 limos are great. But one of the best for me is the Interceptor
  2. Based on the AMi, the new Fiat Topolover Topolino. As it has rope doors is this for VIPs only? Retro Fiat Topolino EV to take on the Citroën Ami | GRR (goodwood.com)
  3. Why do they do this fictitious stuff, who is it aimed at? They'd have to change the branding on the side, maybe Llama Shite or something> Yet another poorly executed set of fiction. Why didn't they use the Alitalia striping instead of a botched Marlboro design. I find pretty much all of the Hot Wheels production to be pointless. They have some great tampo printed detail, but when it comes to racing stuff it is never right. I know they are aimed at kids and they are toys, they do like to get the collectors involved to, but most is just tat and destined to end it's life being battered to death in a Tat Stool holders box.
  4. Well spotted. Just had a quick look on the interwebs and that version should have the cross spokes at both ends.
  5. As I'm the winner I guess I should start the next one off. 5 days to go, already has bids. 1984 Mercedes Benz 280e W123 saloon silver automatic | eBay Will it make £2500. No paper work but plenty of rust.
  6. My method to fit a tyre to that Standard Vanguard would be: 1. Cut new tyre with scalpel. 2. Glue one end of tyre to rim of wheel with Super Glue and allow to dry. 3. Roll wheel so tyre goes into rim. 4. Put Super glue on loose end of tyre and use long nose pliers to stretch tyre so that there is no gap when you join the original cut together.
