1: Citroen 2CV6

2: Jaguar E-type

3: Hmm. BMW or Mercedes. but quite stumped. I think BMW 6-series.

4: Mini

5: Porsche 911

6: Smart ForTwo

7: I think Ford, but not confident. TCAs look like Ford thinking, but it looks bigger. Actually, now I look again I think Volvo 240 variant of some kind. Won't change this answer 'cause I'm going to go look at pictures of suspension - I don't remember ever looking under my 240s.

8: Yep, Mk 1 Golf here too.

9: VW Beetle 1200 or early model, front beam and swing arms.

10: Interesting. I think SAAB 93-96, one of the two-stroke models.

11: Saab 900. (Well, that's clearly wrong, it's got a diff at the back. No bloody clue, some bits look familiar though. Maserati or something interesting)

Saab 900s are FWD ;)

I was going to say p6 3500 for 11 but lack of inboard discs is confusing, as well as floor mounted spare wheel.

BONUS) Tagora

Fascinating photos - ace quiz.

Bloody hell. I see where that would fit now.

Yeah, I was looking at the sills and inline suspension, and completely missed the rear diff.

1  is a 2cv Citroen

2 is a E-type Jaguar / XK engine

3 is a Mercedes, probably a W123.

4 is a mini

5 is a 911 Porsche. A proper early one with torsion bars and air cooling. Yes please.

6 is a Smart for 2

7 is a Volvo 740. The clue is the unique way of locating the rear axle.

8 is a VW Golf Mk1

9 is a VW Beetle, with oversized tyres!

10 is a puzzle, SaaB 96 has entirely different rear suspension, otherwise I would have said '96 too.

11 is definitely a Tagora, I'd recognise that PRV6 sump anywhere and I think a Peugeot 604 has a longer boot.

I was just looking at who posted the thread. Tagora had to be there somewhere! :)

The one that really intrigues me is number 10. Look at the length of the rear overhang - it seems huge! Big ol' mudflaps too.

10 is Wartburg.

God, damn. I was thinking DKW etc after the profile of the flank made me think Borgward, and I completely forgot Wartburgs existed, let alone "ones other than the square thing".

MG A

No sodding idea. Looks like it might be Ford V4 of some sort, but the handbrake looks like a foot or dash system rather than floor.

I think a Granada. That rear beam setup looks familiar.
