Mine's the '34 Ford V8 for a 'fair price' of £20 please. 'I once knew Clyde when he was honest, and upright, and clean'.

The garage advertising on the back page is still trading as Ballards of Finchley, a SAAB specialist.

Fugg me that is brilliant. Seems to be a mahoosive price gap between pre-war and post-war stuff, even for what are ostensibly the same cars. Must have been a psychological cut-off in the 1958 mind?

Oh dear. On the Citroen Traction Avant. "Don't worry about spares as Citroen has a factory in Slough." Yeah, it lasted all of another seven years after this feature...

Mind you, maybe no-one expected their second-hand Traction to last that long?

Fake.

Look at that "1947 Morgan", that's a 2011 model!

Lol! No, they faired the headlights into the wings, and revised the grille in about 1962. Apart from that though....

Once again, excellent scannage, Trigger!

I am beginning to get the urge to own an Austin 7...

When I get sorted with a decent workspace I'll start to save up for a rolling project if I can find one.

This is a brilliant scan trig, love that Jowlett Jupiter - I was left one in my Grandfather's will in 1975 - but I was 4 and the evil auld which (my granny) gave it and a Riley RM (also left to me) to a Motor Museum in Dorset - I found out last month that the museum was sold in the 1980's and both cars were scrapped....

Thanks guys, I also have two more, one from 1959 and one from 1960 but both by Practical Motorist, I started scanning them last night but then realised that a few pages was missing, I'll finish then in the next few days and post them on here.

£354.60 on today's money, or the equivalent of £5998.80 when it was new. Pretty good value...........
