Panzer tank.

Good one... I was getting summat along those lines, but was reminiscing about DeeDee. Grrrrrrr.....!!!! Slurp.

Posted

I had assumed it couldn't possibly be panzer tank and wandered off to do something else. Is the other one I ignored Peel P50 by any chance (It's bloody weak if it is)

Posted

having read this thread but not managed to guess many, so far, i'd thought i'd try one of my own

It's not that weak! :P

Final clue for the other one: it's a 1500cc bike.

Albatross (Albert Ross)?

Yes. Don't say it a third time though....

The 1500cc bike one: Meteor 1500?

Nope.

Final clue: you'll all know the car and it has a 4x4" PCD.

I finish work at 9 and will post the answer then...

In almost 30 pages, no one has had to supply the answer yet! Be prepared to explain each picture....

btw, the peel one? why did you pick a P38 for the gun? that just left me wondering if there was a peel 1710P^2 (P45xP38) - I still can't figure exactly how it makes P50

Posted

I thought it was a p5! My bad :/

I'll explain each one :)

The Pams people one was indeed a Panzer Tank. But came with a reward in the first pic.

To Herr Yes Oui Si Aye Ja etc.

It's NOT a fork, (which would suggest a DIVERGENCE) It's a Confluence (A term given to a flowing river that converges) And to me it's more rapids or White Water.

It's not SOARing, it's GLIDing.

It's not a hill, it's a knoll or indeed possibly a Barrow. (a man made feature)

And another thing. Vauxhall has 2 syllables, not 3. I claim my 5 pounds.

Anyone got mine yet?

Oh aye.... planning summat eh? Found a monkey on the beach?

I might be offended if I was from Hartlepool (I'm not). I just meant that I will solve that puzzle with the Gresley V2 at the top, eventually.

1:

There's not enough detail (long exposure) to ascertain direction of flow.

2:

soar (sôr, s r) intr.v.

soared, soar·ing, soars

1. To rise, fly, or glide high and with little apparent effort.

2. To climb swiftly or powerfully.

3. To glide in an aircraft while maintaining altitude.

3:

It is a photo of Silbury Hill.

I knew you weren't from Monkey Hingin' country, but it's particular knowledge that will assist you through the simple puzzle presented. I was rather hoping "Mr Positive" might be on this one.....

More cryptic clues no doubt...

Yes oui si - you might not be able to see the direction of flow, but there is a gradient! Water doesn't flow uphill.

Water flows downhill.... look to your lower right, you will see the white water dissipating. I have paddled enough on white water in Wales 30 years ago to know what this looks like.

It's a FUCKING HANG GLIDER NOT A FUCKING HANG SOARER!!!!!

3:

It is a photo of Silbury Hill.

Which is, a man made feature used in it's original form as a burial mound. I.E. NOT A FUCKING HILL! Maybe by name, but not as an actual hill.

Next time, be more accurate. 2/10.... see me. Ner! :P

p.s. silbury hill contains no burials, its a man-made hill, part of a sacred landscape for the initiates to pass as they travel down the avenue.
