Aye. Not a bad ol' barge at all, though I do believe that only one of the headlamp wipers works.

You are quite right. Had not even noticed until I spotted this :D

Loving the car so far though.

TBH, I never even found the switch for the headlamp wipers. I did not even think they were connected.

Glad you are enjoying it. It's a great car. Needs some rust protection before winter to keep itself going for a few more years. Can see where it is getting rusty underneath at the front but not rotten.....yet.

Good luck with it. Glad to see it lives on.

There isn't a switch, just need the headlights on and operate the windscreen washers. Was on my 9000's anyway

Don't they just come on at the same time as the screen washers?

No idea. I am normally in the car when I use the wipers....

Don't need the headlamps on. They just operate with the washers - though possibly only if you hold the stalk for a bit rather than a quick squirt. I'm ashamed to admit that when stuck in traffic behind something like a modern Vauxhall, with that mirrored chrome on the back, I'll operate the washers just to watch the headlamp wipers in the reflection...

lol, I do that in the Volvo too....

How do you think I checked that only one of them was working.....:oops:

I used to be able to watch the shadow of the wiper when the lights were on. I liked it, the way that it always seemed to be giving a wee wave as you passed it in the street.

I've still got the Red Pliers...but they are damn useful, used them this evening.:D

Funnily enough, used the red pliers from my 9000 for a job on the BX the other day. They're bloomin' useful!
