That TK with the HB on the back i think belonged to some pikeys, It was parked by there caravans and was being ragged around on Saturday evening, The bloke wasn't slowing down for speed bumps and the Viva as crashing and smashing into the cab and he ragged it.

Most likely the same bloke who threw the strop at the chippy last night and tried to smash the windows and rip the wooden fencing down whilst telling the young girl serving that she was a whore all because there was only chips left, and he was in his 50's...

Billing does have quite a lot of security - car and dog patrols although they do seem to need it. Its a massive site though so they can't cover everything I guess.

Decent enough weekend though. Nice to see you again trigger, sorry to hear about the breakdown. Car looks lovely though, I reckon you should hang on to it personally.

Nice pics rootes-arrow, you should have come and said hello! I'll stick some of my pics up later if theres anything not already here. Did you see the XKR Cresta, that was quite something.

Was going to but you were a bit busy - I am sure there will be another day No missed the XKR Cresta as there was just too much to take in and the other half was too tired by then (She's not a car person and not in 100% health infact the only car she liked was the pink Cresta in my pictures)

Yeh we were fairly busy although it seemed to come in waves a bit - mad busy then quiet for a half hour. Still, I did manage 1/2 a bottle of red wine whilst I was working on a saturday afternoon so it was pretty good!

Theres a black Nova GSi appeared around here lately, don't think its the one from Rootes Arrows post, looks completely bone stock. I'll try and grab a pic before it disappears or gets ruined.

Well done on not going up with that fuel leak Trigger,I had the same thing happen a couple of months back on the dub. Its twin carb so I lost power but was still running so I limped back home for 3 miles like that without realising what was wrong. Properly terrified when I checked what the problem was on the drive

I'd already replaced all the fuel lines and clips, they're now wired onto the carbs to prevent a repeat performance.

Found my pic of the XKR Cresta -

XKR engine, wheels, interior the lot. Must have been a massive amount of work. Wonder what some of the old boys in the surrounding Crestas thought?

Also, after I took the following picture I realised that there was a 'lady' in the back of the van removing her trousers. Quite why she decided to do it in full view of any passing model sellers is beyond me.

I was expecting more cars and people there myself, I was told it's normally busier but i think what with the Retro Show happening up the road and people being put of by the pikeys that swamp the show now many people are just going elsewhere.

Those pikeys are a PITA, they are starting to take over Billing now and causing lots of complants, I heard they also nearly ran someone over in one of there vans and a couple of the women had a fight in the ladies toilets.

The Transit vans they turned up in all had no road tax, this one hasn't been taxed since 1995!, How do they get away with it?.
