THIS FORUM IS USELESS WITHOUT PITCHERS

Think I've linked from this particular flickrstream before but I'm a bit cack handed with computers and can't bloody find them. Pitchers is good and seems to alleviate shoutage, so have some pitchers that aren't mine... change "_z" in the URL to "_o" for bigness as he appears to have disabled linking to forums.

Apologies for the awful photo quality. I must have smeared my phone with a load of shit that mnorning or something. Was a good old bus, mind. Daughter loved it, and we got stuck on the first sign of an incline and ended up having to roll back down the hill in Newcastle weekend traffic to have a run up at it. Pissing down as well. Last september. Good stuff.

These are amazing. At first glance they look like mid '80s shots, then you take a closer look at some of the cars and see a Mondeo, or a Corsa... makes you realise just how quickly old cars vanish completely, and how boring those cars would've seemed back then. Those Corsas and Mondeos are now older than the Sierras, Stanza etc were when the photos are taken, but who could muster and enthusiasm about them now?

Initially I thought this:

was this very same car!!! It was for sale on eBay a few years back - not many around these days. But on reflection I'm not so sure (KWF 153P):

Ah, 1994, that takes me back to the end of my student days in Edinburgh and the purchase of a Toyota Corolla AE86 as a reward to myself

HOT SHERPA ACTION

The follow up to The Italian Job (The Sheffield Failed Attempt) was a bit poor on reflection.

That sherpa pic is ace, the bonus insertion of the word POLLOCK on the wagon just makes it better.

That would be ace, if not over a little quickly. I wouldn't fancy my chances in trying to manuever a Sherpa up some narrow planks into the back of a Bedford bus...

The "GOD HELP ME" ad stuck on the back of that bus is particularly topical!

That's the last time I let him take me for a bus tour of his beloved Andes.
