freebird Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 Dear Sir,Firstly, Id like to thank you for the warm welcome into the busom of this hallowed forum.I was, to begin with, rather suprised, having lurked on here for some time, that you hadnt come launching in at my very first post.Lets face it, every forum the world over has, at the very least, one person playing the miserable, nasty, rude old curmudgeon, this forum has you.The fact that your act, like the Silent film,Music hall and the Dodo before that died out long ago, may be lost on you but i get it because, long, long ago, I played the very part you have mastered on here, elsewhere in cyber space.To this end, i would, respectfully, suggest that you do your "routine" infront of somebody young enough and/or impressionable enough to give a fuck because i dont.May i take this opportunity to point out to anybody else who gives a shit that i will, undoubtedly, post with the odd undotted "i" the odd misspelling or five and not neccessarliy the the acumen to post with the wit of Mr Hurst or be as straight and truthfully blunt as Mr B.Naturally, with such a low post count, i fully expect to be viewed with suspicion, hey, I MAY be accepted once ive hit the magic "1000" posts, then again, i may not. Hey fucking ho and all that.In anycase, if people wish to respond to my posts, they will, if they do not wish to, they wont. Its life, i wont be slitting my fucking wrists.In closing, Id just like to point out that i joined this forum for one simple purpose, to talk about cars. This is, i assumed, a grown ups place where the words "oof" and "sex wee" would be banished to the kindergarden of forums. Also I have to say that if people don't bother you/aren't getting to you then starting a thread of to say that sort of plays into their hands because it'll look like they have got to you.
