something odd has happened to the photos - they are cropped on the right - don't know why - photobucket

I think you mad as well!, I give it a fortnight before you get fed up with it!, and how long does that gear lever look!

scooters you provide some of the best shite write ups ever. I doff my hat to you!

Yugo looks a fine beast, maybe needs a beaded seat cover for the long journey home mind!

Five stars. 8) That gearlever looks like it was made from an old table leg.

It's this site, the photos are still there they just get hidden underneath the username/avatar column.

I think a beaded seat cover is essential! The hard seats are infact an advanced safety feature ensuring the worker driver doesn;t fall asleep at the wheel after his 15 hour shift at the lathe

trigger - remember that my current daily is a 1974 Sherpa - ANYTHING is an improvement on driving one of those...this is a back up daily runabout and as that might do the trick! and if I don't like it I can always sell it to Sam Glover

lol...cheers Nigel you did warn me

Cool, I sussed the right donkey but wrong shell! Oh, and does it come with the RFX wheels?

Bloody hell, Scooters. You really are a brave bugger driving that from Deepest Southshire to Edinburger.

I only ever drove one of these once. That was enough.

Top Shiteing. Why not pick it up on Saturday, and bring it to Chodmongly on Sunday?

Look at the way the irresistible force of the powerful Motor of the People is united with the trustworthy Chassis Contraption of Collective Power (Henceforth to be known as the C.C.C.P).

It looks like they slung the spare tyre on top to stop it jumping out. :D

Wow! Nice buy, fellow prole.

If Carl Marx was around in the late 20th century he would probably be driving one of these.

When I saw the 'VC' Coventry reg I thought 'City Garage'! Refered to as shity garage at the Yugo dealer I worked at, basicaly once they'd sold a car on a stitch up 'minimum £1000 part ex' deal they didn't want to know...

If you look under the front parcel shelf on the passenger side there should be a triangular grey plastic cover, this was a dealer mod to stop the passenger being able to apply the brakes by pressing the linkage that runs across the bulkhead... a case of this happening was reported in the Sun at the time.

I am sure I've read more than once that when Marx had to take the train, he would always travel first class!

A clear improvement on the fascist Italian Fiat 127 with it's capitalist exploitation of Italian Comrades which is made from the sweat of the worker! By using poor quality plastics which are quicker to make and fitting them in a slapdash way, the Yugoslavian worker, unlike his oppressed Italian brother has more time to teach his children Marxist Leninist Theory and leisure time partaking in mass parades and learning Esperanto...the driver of these cars can rest assured than no worker was exploited by the capitalist imperialist pigs!

A good friend of mine still has not pieced his Dictactor Spec 1.3 65A '5-speed' back together, the silly, silly man. I will shout henceforth at his direction...

Pure, unadulterated chod and all the better for it. The interior is just absolute nuclear grade shite and absolutely ace. Hats off to you sir.

just needs a set of rusty steel wheels and some obscure remoulds to finish

I'll put the original steels back on -if you prefer- comnplete with Bosnian boots.

No charge..

thanks for the offer Nigel - however, the 'FD' has finally put her foot down with 'there will be a bloody good reason why Nigel has replaced the wheels you tosser' - and 'Nigel, the seller told you not to buy it.but oh no...you know better...you just had to..'type comment and at this point I realise that I have pushed it as far as Prince Andrew's arms dealer murdeing mates do! So we'll stick with the ALLOYZ RIMNS

The 45A is for winners, no doubt. I’ve got a roadtest of the 55A with bodykit from about 1986, they praised the ride and handling with its big alloy wheels but the performance wasn’t much better than the 45A.

Are you going to do the motorway journeys in it? I think they said it was flat out at just over 80mph, with 70mph being a bit “busyâ€Â. Ideal for trundling around town though.
