Aussie tat hoard auction, 19/11/06

Sorry if this is old news - nearly a year old in fact - but I happened across this auction of 150+ cars while looking for something else, as you do. A fair proportion of non-Oz market stuff too, is there a big market for ex-UK tat down under?

I remember having impure thoughts about getting my mate to buy that green Rekord when I was out in Oz last year, then using it instead of a hire car. Getting the thing rego'd and MOT'd (RWC as they call it!) put paid to that idea!

Wow....Interesting flappage on the Hunter! Like the pointy, blue, turbocharged thing with the pop-up lights....No idea what it is though....Something about it is saying "Mitsubishi" to me, but I could be wrong?

Ah well Reg, I only got the 'Mk2 Granny horn' once I returned from Oz. To be honest that one looks a bit rough, always a concern when there's Black Smoothrite where there shouldn't be!
