that (I assume you mean F312FKO) is on a Fake SORN as I call it, a little while back something at the DVLA changed and a whole bunch of a vehicle records that where showing as untaxed suddenly became SORN, even ones with scrapped markers and the such like, exactly like this van

my personal theory behind it is that these where vehicles that *were* SORN but from back in the days when SORN was a manually renewed thing like Tax is, and these vehicles are ones where the SORN was allowed to run out and never renewed, (like when the vehicle is scrapped) and then recently some system change or what have you has suddenly re-instated the SORN

I really dont like it as its just degrading the quality of vehicle data from the DVLA and gives people false hope when they see "Oh its on SORN maybe its still around!" 

 

but its pretty easy to spot fake SORN's as they generally will have really old V5 dates, any vehicle that was genuinely SORN, generally wont have such an old V5 partly in thanks to the whole V5 replacement thing that happened in 2012
