What is easier than one picture per post, no words?

It couldn't be any simpler...

Tell me about it 😄

That wee van, I noticed it looks to have VW rear lamps and I have never seen one before. VW Type 147 Fridolin, thank you Google!

I also wondered what it was. And I have never heard of these before now, and there were probably not many of these in Norway.

I remember looking these up a few years back as one of my friends Father had one as a builder and I have the foot pump from it. I remember the lower windows as a kid and looking in at his scruffy boots! Couple of different badged versions I think, correct me if I'm wrong.

Edit: I can't believe you could still buy these in 1980!

I just went off to confirm all the different variations of Austin , Morris, Leyland and BMC models and I come back and you've just added the edit with the link 🙄

Loads of different body styles and backends available . Our local mobile grocer used to have one for years.

Have now found out a little more about this VW in the picture. It had registration number 38-13-95 and was used by Oslo Lysverker for cable work. It is still alive and is now in Finland and has been restored.

Is that a blue estate version behind it?

Good spot - I think it is. Imagine finding two Regals side by side nowadays (other than in a rally field).

I think these where built for postal service duties, the lorry next to the fuel pump I think as a Bedford A type.
