What's at the bottom of here (an unfinished missile silo, 30m deep, in Saratov Oblast up river from Volgograd)?

That also sounds ambitious to me. I seem to remember the Maestro & Montego could do the best part of 60 mpg but they had DI engines and were flyweights. I also suspect 'real world' mpg figures were surprisingly good back then was that as vehicles were underpowered back then compared to 'moderns' they couldn't be driven so wastefully and inefficiently as everybody seems to now where the right foot is either 'on' or 'off'.
