Ford (Australia) LTD 1985. Available with factory 302 or 351V8. Looks a bit like a Mk2 Granada but completely different. See also late 70s / early 80s Ford Falcon (Aus), and the Falcon Sundowner van, etc.

By this time the design and materials of the original Mini dashboard had been finalised and signed off for production.

Fascinating Mk1 Capri fact, number 762. When the 3-litre was introduced in 1970 it was the only Capri version at the time to have the power bulge bonnet, and you could have a bonnet with a factory fitted opening /removable flap bit, like an American muscle car. Very rare and discontinued 1971. This Capri pic was on ebay last week. Look, removable thing ↓ ↓ ↓

This bloke went a bit further and made a see through 3-litre bonnet so he could check his 1600GT was still running without opening the bonnet.

Was it some sort of Rover V8 powered custom?

DVLA says 'fuck knows M8'.

(Writes down

- 'cake the whole underside in black stuff, and cover up all the existing rust. It's rotten as a pear, don't offer any part-exchange deal. A bloke with hat will be back for it after 5.30').

Haven't they finished that yet? Was in progress when I was there in early March.
