Scats Countryside Stores, not seen one of them since I was a kid. Do they still exist? We used to occasionally go to one near Billingshurst but I can't remember why, might have been dog food.

Scats Countryside Stores, not seen one of them since I was a kid. Do they still exist? ….

 

Technically they do, but they became part of the Mole Valley Farmers Group in about 2002, and then were rebranded as Mole Country Stores a few years ago.

 

When I used to visit HMP Canterbury as part of my work, I always tried to pop into Canterbury SCATS to see if there was anything useful for the horse. Quite a good store, that one, but I don't know what the other branches were like.
