There's a Funeral Directors in Borough Green "Gay Funeral Services". I am old enough to come from the generation where gay means cheerful.

They guy in blue ( stage right ) is one of the organisers of the real cannonball run the film is based on, alot of it is based on actual occurrences  from the race.

The David carradine one is loosely based on the first competitive event in 74  , gumball rally is very close to that running.

The fist one was in I think 72 with brock Yates & I think Dan gurney in a Ferrari Daytona coupe.

The book on the 3 events is a good read with some hilarious anecdotes  Inc them getting a a bollocking in the middle of nowhere at a gas station from a cop that ran out of steam at 140 mph but deduced that the only thing for miles in the early hours that could do that was them.

Plus the one re the ambulance parting the city/ ball game traffic & the cop who pulled them as seen in the film.
