According to https://www.oldclassiccar.co.uk/registrations/sv.htm it was originally a code for Kinross-shire.  It was one of the councils that didn't get to the end of it's original allocation by the time dated registrations became compulsory.

SV2219 was issued by Kinross in 1955

SV2093 first reg in 1955

SV2241 first reg in 1956

So late 1955

That's gorgeous. I was never a fan of lowlights when I owned my 1100 1969 Minor back in the day. Funny how time changes things!
