Weird factoid. A check on the above Ford showed that it was originally issued plate BP 753 in 1964 (CSJ 722 is a recent issue). My mothers car was BP 595 and father's BP 1875, that makes it very local to where we lived.

I miss seeing proper rusty old chod like this. I remember a cottage near my parents which used to have shitty old Fords parked periodically in the garden, facing the road, and left to rot. It was always entertaining watching the headlights on mk1 Escrots slowly slide downwards as the wing rotted away around them (at a rate of knots iirc).

Aaaanyway...
