Is this the 'Warranty Returns' car park?  

Actually, apart from their ability to rust and get very wet inside, they were comfortable (if slightly bouncy) and very nippy cars for the time.

One of my Uncles had 2 of them, he said they were nice to drive but a little underpowered with the 1089cc engine when fully loaded.  One of his had a little end go while going on a holiday & needed to finish the journey on a low loader!

It cost quite a bit of money to get it fixed.  This was when I was very young, & the first car I can remember him having was a Mk2 Cortina.

My dad had four 1100s - all company cars. Each year a bloke from head office showed up with a new one. Bristol to Dundee in the early 1970s 🫣

I remember some kids at my primary school used to  arrive in one of those Humbers (super Snipe?) everyday in the 60s.

Somewhat cruelly, they got got nicknamed “the Munsters”.
