Has anyone any suggestions as to a decent kit I can use to speak 'n' drive? I know nowt about Bluetooth except that my phone has got it. Don't want one of those flashing things that clips behing your ear. Are the gadgets that clip on the visor any good or is it best to splash out a bit more and get one that comes through the stereo? Obviously I want to pay as little as possible.

Thanks

I used to have a parrot kit in my old work van, and it was pretty damn good. Seem to remeber them paying about £100 fitted from Halfords for it.

The visor ones are crap, TBH. Ebay might turn up something cheap to fit yourself. If you get one of the older ones with a seperate speaker, there's only about 3 wires to connect, and a bit of fiddling to mount the mic. Just a thought.

The elastic band is a highly practical solution when washing the dishes etc, but for the car I use a cable headset. Pop the phone in a shirt pocket and use the buttons on the cable to answer the call, I stop if I want to make one.

If, however, you drive a something new and expensive, eg a DB9 in rushhour traffic, just feel free to use it without a handsfree kit - it lets others know that you've hocked yourself so much that you can't afford a handsfree kit. Shame I didn't get a photo of this pillock.
