pompei Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 An occasional series of rare moments... Today I saw a modern VW Beetle cabriolet being driven by a MAN!
outlaw118 Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 He was probably on his way to either his hairdressing salon, or his shop selling soft furnishings. (Not that I wish to generalise at all you understand....)
pandamonium Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 The bloke I bought my Lada from drives a beetle cabriolet, but it is a company car!
Station Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 I chortled to myself the other day when I saw a man driving an old Tigra, even probably saying 'homo' under my breath, even though I'd absolutely love to have one of those cars, and drive it everywhere.
Mr Lobster Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 But did he have a flower in the dash mounted flower holding device though?
Mr H Sceptre Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 ^ Thats inexcusable. Even if he was driving the Other Half's car, you'd take out the flower. And replace it with a packet of ciggies, or a copy of The Star. What a fucking puff.

Lord Sterling Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 Saw a bloke driving one of those new shape Pink Micra cabrio/coupes. I've also seen blokes driving Pink KA's, Pink bodykitted up Saxos/160s.
Pete-M Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 There's a docker who lives near me who drives a StreetKa. His wife drives a Merc ML 420. The ML is always spotless, but the Ka is normally under about 3" of mud'n'shite. Does raise a chuckle when I see this huge bald bloke coming home from work in rigger boots and yellow safety gear in the Ford. He does drive it with the roof down sometimes as well. I'll try and grab a pic next time I see it.
pompei Posted October 13, 2010 Author Posted October 13, 2010 Next installment in rare occurrences;- a Saxo VTR for sale that has not been modified and the ad is written without using txtspk http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2002-Citroen-Saxo ... 3cb16d0a5c
Station Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 I was following a complete buggered Astra mk2 Estate down a big long main road near me. The rear springs or dampers were gone, or something had detached completely as the back end was bouncing a good three feet in the air as it was driving. When it braked, it bounced even further, it was the maddest thing I've seen, I may even have uttered "I don't believe it!".

Saw a (proper) Mini today which was sittingly very high on the back end, so high the front end was literally looking down the on the road!

trigger Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 I can assure you dockers car parks aren't full of Mercs, its full of BMW's and Lexus's.
